Call for papers 

The Secretariat of the Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia (APTA) is officially inviting undergraduate students of Member Institutions and Dialogue Partners to the 8th International Undergraduate Conference on policing (IUCP), scheduled to be held at Royal Police Cadet Academy, Thailand (RPCA), on 3 September 2024. 


○  Subject for Papers 

- We welcome any papers regarding policing and criminal justice. It may be Criminal Investigation, Public Safety, Crime Prevention, Cyber crime, International Cooperation, Crime Scene Investigation, etc. 


○  Eligibility

- Undergraduates from Member Institutions (MIs) & Dialogue Partners (DPs) of the APTA 

- Trainees from MIs & DPs of the APTA, to be appointed as a Police Officer after graduation, possessing no higher than a bachelor’s degree 

- For fair competition, participation is restricted to youths between ages 19-34 


○  Participants 

- Individually or in a team of two. More than one team from each institution can register.

* We highly recommend for MIs and DPs to consider IUCP finalists as PASFA delegation, as the cost for IUCP participation will be borne by each Institution and Partner.

 

○  Schedule 

- Submission & Registration : 14-21 June 2024

- Announcement of Qualifiers :19 July 2024 

- Deadline for PowerPoint Presentation : 23 August 2024

- Conference Date : 3 September 2024

- Required Documents: Registration form, Enrollment Certification, Paper
